Hello There! Welcome to the Club! ~

What is the Self Centered Club?

This a community built around the very real need for accountability when tackling goals. Our club is all about bringing together women from all walks of life that have big goals and very little time to achieve them.

Why should I join?

Very good question! You’re probably in the right place if…

  1. You have ever said the words “I would do __ if only I had the time”.

  2. You have a million ideas but can’t seem to get them out of your head and into the world where they belong.

  3. You feel lonely when you set out to do something because no one close to you is on a similar journey.

  4. You get started but aren’t able to finish anything because you quickly lose motivation or become discouraged.

If any of those reasons sound familiar, then you are 100% in the right place.

OK, so I need help getting my shit together. How is this club going to do that?

You’re just filled with great questions! This membership is essentially the study group that you didn’t know you were missing. As someone who thrived in an academic setting, I knew that if I was ever going to meet any of my goals once I graduated, I was going to need someone to keep me in check.

The Self Centered Club is all about YOU. Hence the name. You goals, passion projects, entrepreneurial pursuits, they are ALL possible. You just need a little help. When you join the club, this is what you can expect:

  • Weekly blog posts all about topics that will help you meet your goals, no matter what they are. Topics ranging from productivity, how to manage your mental health when going after big goals, and physical health and wellness.

  • Access to the Self Centered Club digital resource library. Think of Wikipedia for goal getters, but better (If I do say so myself).

  • Weekly project sprints. This is the good stuff! This is how we stay on track and get to the finish line. Every week we meet on zoom for one hour broken down into two 30 minute sprints, to tackle our goals for the week. Before the sprint each week, you’ll get an email with a very cute session planner so that you can go into every sprint with a clear focus. No more excuses, okay? (No camera’s needed! You can say hi or not, we get it.)

And that’s just the beginning. As the club grows, our capacity to do awesome things also grows. So are you down?

Alright, I think this sounds like something I want to be a part of! What do I have to do to join?

HOORAY! I’m so happy you feel like you’re in the right place. Here’s what you need to join:

  • An email address (Which you already have! Awesome sauce)

  • $5.00 a month. Less than a grande drink from Starbucks. For 5 bucks a month, you get access to all of the blog posts, the resource library, the comments section, and weekly Zoom project sprints.

  • If $5.00 isn’t in your budget right now, that’s totally ok. Send me an email at coachedbyargina@gmail.com and I will happily comp your subscription. I want you to be a part of this community.

And that’s it! Well I guess not totally. I should probably introduce myself.

Hi! My name is Argina and I have big goals and a lot of excuses for why I can’t achieve them.

After joining corporate America 4 years ago, I completely lost sight of my goals to one day be self employed. I got way too comfy with the idea of getting a check every 2 weeks and was unhappily watching my life go by on autopilot mode.

Towards the end of 2023, I found a journal entry where I had written down that this year would be the year I finally quit my 9-5 and started my own business. Spoiler alert: that didn’t happen. When I realized it was the same exact vow I made the previous year too, I got really bummed out.

I couldn’t figure out how someone that was such a successful student while in school and a good employee couldn’t do anything meaningful for herself. Then it dawned on me: I have nothing to keep me accountable. At school there were due dates for assignments that needed to get done or else I’d literally fail the class. At work there are projects and performance evaluations that directly affect my livelihood. In those environments I’m awesome. But when it comes to doing stuff for myself, I kinda suck.

So I decided to start the Self Centered Club this year. Being self centered gets a bad rap. It is NOT selfish to put yourself first and to take your goals seriously. You do it for everyone else, so why not for yourself? So those club is for me just as much as it is for you. My most sincere hope is that you find the courage to make it about you for once.

So shall we finally get our shit together once and for all?
